1. WELCOME– We heartily welcome you all who are worshipping God along with us today for the first time and pray that His love would be  extended to you and members of your families. Kindly complete the form given to you and hand it over to the members of the church’s WELCOME TEAM who will meet with you at the CHOIR OFFICE point immediately after the service. Kindly join them through the Exit by the Lectern side of the church.
2. DAILY HOLY COMMUNION SERVICE: – Join us at the 7.15 a.m. service in the Chapel every day this week.
3. CONFIRMATION CLASS:  Confirmation class holds immediately after the 1100Hrs Service today, the Confirmation will take place on Sunday, 18th October, 2015 at 9 a.m.
4. WELCOME TO THE WEEK WITH THE LORD: We welcome the Lord Bishop of the Diocese of Okene, The Rt. Revd (Prof.) Emmanuel Ajulo and Mrs. Ajulo, who will anchor the week with the Lord from this morning till Saturday wit the the following sub-themes:  
   • 4th October, 2015  –  “You are God’s treasured possession” (I Peter 2: 1-10)
   • 5th October, 2015  –  “Abstain from sinful desires” (I Peter 1: 13-19ff)
   • 6th October, 2015  –  “Grow in grace and knowledge of God” (2 Peter 3: 18)
   • 7th October, 2015 –  “The kind of people you ought to be” (2 Peter 3: 11-15)
   • 8th October, 2015 –  “Be dressed ready”  (Luke 12: 35ff)
   • 9th October, 2015 –  “Do not engage in civilian pursuits”  (2 Timothy 2:    4)
   • 10th October, 2015 –  “Look forward to a new heaven and a new earth     (2 Peter 3: 1-14;  Revelation 21: 1-4ff)
   • Sunday, 11th October, 2015 –  “There is God’s final harvest”  (Rev. 20: 11-15)

        From Monday, 5th October, 2015, the programme starts at 5.00 p.m. each day.

The Lord will bless you and start a life-long transformation in you as you participate actively in all the sessions.

5. HEARTY CONGRATULATIONS: We congratulate Barr. Dr. Dapo Olanipekun and his wife, on his being admitted to the elite club of Senior Advocates of Nigeria (SAN).  We congratulate his father – Chief Wole Olanipekun (SAN), himself a very Senior Advocate of Nigeria, his mother and the entire Olanipekun family.  May things of joy continue to flow into and through your lives and homes.

CHURCH HOUSE FLATS: The six flats in the Church Block of Flats in Ikoyi are available for corporate or individual tenants.  The road (Obadeyi Close) has recently been rehabilitated with proper drains and interlocking paving stones.  Interested prospective tenants for one or all of the flats (individuals or companies) should please contact the Admin. 7. HARVEST COMMITTEE MEETING:– The members of Harvest Committee would meet on Wednesday, 7th October, 2015 at the Church Hall.  Time:  6.00 p.m.  Members should please, be punctual.
8. MISSION SEED ENVELOPES: You are invited to help empower His  Grace, our Diocesan Bishop to help needy parishes and the mission fields in the diocese, within and outside the country by contributing at least One thousand Naira monthly towards the Mission Seed Project.  Mission Seed  will be  collected TODAY and on every first Sunday of the month, but you could also pay during the week.  Please collect and use a set of envelopes to help you pay regularly and God will bless you abundantly.
9. TITHE ENVELOPES: God has asked you to obey Him by bringing in the FULL tithes into His storehouse and put Him to test if He will not rain blessings on you. To help you do this, the church has provided envelopes for regular tithing.   Please collect yours from the Guild of Stewards.  The Lord will bless you with His  abundance as you obey Him.  Tithes are collected  every Third Sunday of the month.  Please drop the tithe as you go for communion.  Please note that you can continue to pay your tithe at any other time of the week or make a direct transfer to the Church’s Bank account.

9. INVESTMENT COMMITTEE MEETING:- Members of the Investment Committee would meet on Wednesday, 7th October, 2015 at 12noon at the usual venue.  All members should endeavour to attend promptly.
10. WOMEN OF GRACE MEETING: Members of Women of Grace meets  today immediately after the first service, at the Chapel Extension.
11. BUSINESS FELLOWSHIP’S 2015 MARKET FAIR, EXHIBITION AND BUSINESS DIRECTORY:- The Business Fellowship invites members of the church to showcase their products/services at its 2015 Market Fair.   Exhibition and launching of Business Directory would hold on Saturday 24th October 2015 between 9am and 6pm at the Church Hall to mark her 16th Anniversary with business talk on raising funds for SMES.    Corporate and Individual sponsors for the programme would be welcome.

12. LITERATURE & PUBLICATION COMMITTEE: The Literature and Publications Committee requests articles, jokes, cartoons and other content for the December edition of Good Tidings. Please send copies of your entries to goodtidings@osc-tbs.org. We appreciate all those who have continued to support us through advertisements. We will appreciate more advertisements and goodwill Christmas messages in the December edition of the magazine. The rates for advertisements are:

13. IKOYI ARCHDEACONRY WOMEN’S QUARTERLY MEETING:- Date:  Today, Sunday, 4th October, 2015 at Our Saviour’s Church, TBS, Lagos.  Time: 10.00 a.m  Dress code:  White & Green.
14. PARISH CHARITY DAY: The next Parish Charity Day will take place on Saturday, 24th October, 2015 at 10 a.m.  Donations of Rice, Beans, Noodles, Yams, Beverages, Household utensils, Clothings in good condition and cash would be appreciated.  Please put a smile on the faces of the needy and God will richly bless you for it.
15. MOTHERS’ UNION & WOMEN’S GUILD: Date: Tuesday, 6th October and Wednesday, 7th October, 2015, members are to join the Pre-Adults’ Harvest Revival from 5.00 p.m. each day.
16. MOTHERS’ UNION & WOMEN’S GUILD ANNUAL DUES:– Members of the Mothers’ Union & Women’s Guild are hereby reminded of the payment of their annual dues to any of the clergy wives today or within the week.
17. CLASSES FOR MOTHERS’ UNION ENROLMENT:- The class for 2015 Mothers’ Union Enrolment holds today, immediately after the service at the Chapel Extension.  Members should please be punctual.

18. 2015 ELDERS’ FELLOWSHIP 2 DAYS RESIDENTIAL CAMP:- Date: Tuesday 6th to Thursday, 8th October, 2015.  Venue:  Faith Plaza, Bariga.  Theme:  The Ten Virgins (Matt. 25: 1-13).  Fee:  N3,000.00 per elder. 
19. FOOD BANK: The Youth Ministry has started a Food Bank in the church. This service seeks to provide raw food stuffs and beverages for members who have nothing to eat. Kindly go to the rear entrance of the Church Hall if you find this helpful. Kindly note that this is a covenant arrangement, only those in need should visit the place. Please, also feel free to join us to bring smile to faces that are stranded by providing for them through this medium. 20. MEMBERS’ APPEAL FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE:
    1. A couple who are very active in the church need assistance to brighten up their lives and home.  Kindly stretch your hand of love to them.  Please write cheques in the name of the church and endorse “Couple”.  God bless you abundantly.

23. COMPULSORY PRE-MARRIAGE COUNSELLING: Please note that the pre-marriage counselling  has started.  The purpose of Counselling is to prepare our children on how to establish and maintain harmony in their marriages.  The programme is intensive and will take minimum of 12 weeks. 

Every potential couple should take note and avail themselves of this golden opportunity.  Parents should also note that this should be the first step in preparation for their children’s wedding. We expect all the “about to be married”  members to take note!  Clearance will not be given for wedding until the course is completed.

23. INVITATION FROM PROF. J.O.A. SODIPO TO THE 20TH ANNIVERSARY OF OMOLAJA SODIPO MEMORIAL ANGLICAN SCHOOL (OSMAS):– There will be a Thanksgiving Service to mark the celebration on Sunday, 11th October, 2015 at Pearl Pavillion, Bishopscourt. Onikolobo, Abeokuta and Luncheon with Award Ceremony at 1.00 p.m. Prof. Joseph Adepegba Sodipo’s father, Hon. Chief Isaac Ademoye Omolaja Sodipo of blessed memory endowed the establishment of a Boarding and School known as OMOLAJA SODIPO MEMORIAL ANGLICAN SCHOOL at Abeokuta.  The school celebrate her 20th Anniversary today.  Please pray for the growth of the school.
