We have succeed severally in helping some to gain their freedom.
The Ministry helps to increase the academic qualification of willing inmates with the payment for WAEC/GCE ordinary level and JAMB examinations. We also finance the university education of some inmates at the open university. The Ministry holds its monthly meeting every fourth Sunday of the month after the second service at the Church extension.
A keen member of the ministry who was very instrumental to the building of the Chapel was Dr. Olusegun Oyeleye. Twenty years after he went to rest with the Lord, another key figure who for many years was Chairman, Chief (Mrs) Victoria Morenike Esan also went to rest in May, 2013. Their memories will linger with us for a long time.

The Ministry started about twenty three years ago. It was established to take care of the social, medical and spiritual needs of prisoners and other detainees in custody. The Ministry built a chapel in Ikoyi Prison in 1993 where we hold regular fellowship with the inmates every third Sunday of the month. Other churches/denominations take turns on other sundays.
